C.L.S MEMBERS

CLS (Ceramica Libera Sperimenrale: Free Ceramic Research ) is an international group of artists, whose slogan for the past 10 years has been “from the tradition of originality, ceramics are works of Art.” It should be their desire to study traditions until they are able to create original forms of art without any hang ups from the past. Nourished enthusiasm and spirit within the artistical group and confrontation in all endeavors, is our interpretation of art and ceramics.  Artists themselves need to express a demand on research which treads along the master’s trail of artistical tradition; this permits additions of alternative expressions, free from restraining rules.
Every artist in our group carries along with them, their own individual expression. These expressions are an appropriate language used to influence a work of art. This is beneficial in promoting future growth and for opening the doors of infinite possibility.  The blending of experiences from artists of different cultural backgrounds amplifies this further.
